Buddy has been married 45+ years to his spouse, Sharon, who assists Buddy in most venue events. They have four children, ten grandchildren, and a growing number of great-grandchildren (five and growing). Buddy is a Vietnam-era Veteran who served as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy (1972-1976). He earned a BS in Allied Health Sciences from UW-Milwaukee (1984), Certifications in Mediation and Paralegal Studies from Lakewood College (2012), an MA in Human Services Counseling and Executive Leadership from Liberty University (2014), and is currently completing his dissertation as a doctoral candidate at Grand Canyon University in pursuit of his DBA, a practitioner doctorate (2015-Present-ABD).
Buddy is a “Positive Social Change Agent,” with extensive experience as a parenting coach, keynote speaker, presenter, business coach and trainer, consultant, and family/business mediator. Buddy has been an entrepreneur for many years, currently through BCT Mediations PLUS (2012-Present), providing a myriad of services which include individual and corporate-level services in Parenting Dynamics, Family Mediation, Conflict Management, and Consulting. He was the past owner and field operations director of Best Courier Team and Courier Logistics Specialists, two successful same-day on-demand logistics companies in central Arizona. In addition, Buddy has quite a storied past leading to his current reality.
Over the past 30 years, Buddy has been a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (20+ years, now retired), competing primarily in the western U.S. Buddy was a licensed Realtor in Arizona (12 years, now retired) and is currently a member of Maricopa County Association of Family Mediators (MCAFM.org), serving as Ethics Co-chair in 2013-2014. Buddy believes a strong public presence and active community involvement is essential to serving others. Buddy has published globally in multiple forums (Lawful Talks, Huff Post, LinkedIn, plus others). Buddy designs and gives presentations to groups, and emcees or keynotes as requested. “To be of service, and to advance others is a blessing, and I am honored to accept any education or conflict-related challenge that may benefit others.”
